Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind). You monitor offshore wind assets from a remote hub, analyze alarms, and drive diagnostics and troubleshooting across commissioning and service phases.

You collaborate with site teams and engineers to sustain turbine performance and enable lifecycle reliability. You will leverage SCADA and electrical schematics, communicate clearly under pressure, and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.
• Travel up to 20% as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms in real time.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams to resolve technical issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data for faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting of technical findings and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to process optimization and safety compliance.
• Occasional on-call and weekend support as required.
