GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center to oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a Barcelona-based center. You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on wind energy experience, strong diagnostics and remote troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel up to 20% as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind sector experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication, calm structured approach under pressure.
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, if required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written), willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
