Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore wind assets, lead technical investigations, and support commissioning and service activities from a centralized hub.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring safe, reliable operations and continuous improvement within a rotating shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and alarms.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical details.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams.
• Analyze operational data for faults and trends.
• Support reporting of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends.
