Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor performance, diagnose faults, and guide remote diagnostics to maintain reliable turbine operations.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, handle SCADA and other digital tools, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring safety and compliance across rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
