Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to monitor offshore wind assets, perform remote diagnostics, and lead troubleshooting across commissioning and service phases.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to ensure safe, efficient operations, analyze data for faults, and support continuous improvement. Fluency in English and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues to restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shift with on-call weekends/holidays.
