GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to drive remote operations for wind assets in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues, and oversee commissioning and service activities from a remote operations center.

You will collaborate with site teams, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement across operations, including support during grid outages and safety-critical tasks. Fluent English and an engineering degree are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Aufgaben

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call support on weekends/public holidays.
