Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to operate from a remote center in Barcelona, overseeing the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets. You will collaborate with site teams to diagnose issues, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement across commissioning and service phases.

The role requires a engineering degree with wind energy experience, strong analytical skills, and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or equivalent.
Experience with wind turbines in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvements and operational optimisation.
Assist with grid outage support prioritising safety and compliance.
