Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center (Wind) based in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore wind assets from a remote hub, analyzing alarms and guiding issue resolution across commissioning and service phases.

You will collaborate with site teams, engineering experts, and support functions to ensure safe, reliable operations and continuous improvements, with travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Willing to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona;EU work eligibility.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, ensuring safety.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
