Vestas is hiring a Remote Operations Engineer in Madrid to support global wind turbine availability. The role emphasizes real-time monitoring, advanced diagnostics, and remote incident resolution, impacting performance and cost of energy.

You will work in a 24/7 environment, communicating with customers and field technicians, and using SCADA and SAP to resolve issues, with hybrid office/home flexibility.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year in the Wind Industry or 3 years in complex hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Associate Degree in Electronics/Automation/Robotics/Renewables.
• Intermediate English (B1/B2) suitable for technical emails and emergency calls.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose issues using SCADA and SAP to determine if the problem can be fixed remotely from Madrid or if a technician must be dispatched.
• Manage communications with customers and field technicians during urgent incidents via phone and email.
• Maintain high standards and meticulous data/KPIs in a 24/7 rotating shift, including night shifts and weekends.
