Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead (Product Security) based in Spain for a remote-first team building Kubernetes and AI infrastructure. You will lead hands-on security work, conduct penetration tests, and guide secure design and remediation across cloud-native products, contributing production Go code and shaping product security culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience performing penetration tests on production systems.
• Deep practical Kubernetes security expertise (container isolation, RBAC, pod security policies).
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals (API server, controllers, kubelet).
• Experience building Kubernetes controllers/operators (controller-runtime/Kubebuilder/client-go).
• Threat modeling, secure system design, and secure architecture reviews in production environments.
• Proven ability to investigate and remediate vulnerabilities and manage CVE lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Penetration testing and security assessments of products and infrastructure, focused on Kubernetes environments.
• Triage, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities in code and dependencies.
• Threat modeling and secure design reviews early in development.
• Kubernetes security analysis of attack surfaces, RBAC, admission control, and policies.
• Contribute to code and architecture reviews to improve security.
• Embed secure defaults and threat-aware development practices across teams.
• Produce production-grade Go code for secure infrastructure components.
• Explain vulnerabilities and remediation priorities to engineering stakeholders.
• Drive continuous security improvements in processes and standards.
