Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Security Engineer (AppSec / GRC / AI Security) based in Spain to own security across a rapidly growing platform serving 50M+ users. You will lead app security, risk, and AI security initiatives, collaborating with engineering leaders to embed security in development workflows.

You will coordinate audits, manage incident response, and drive remediation end-to-end, including after-hours coverage and phishing simulations to strengthen the organization\'s security posture.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in security engineering, application security, or similar role, with scale-up experience.
• Strong expertise in application security, code reviews, vulnerability testing, and remediation.
• Experience coordinating security audits and penetration tests with tracked findings.
• Ability to collaborate with software engineers; scripting in Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Review code for vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with developers.
• Coordinate external pen tests, security assessments, and audits, with prioritized findings.
• Manage security risk register and prioritize remediation by risk severity.
• Monitor security alerts, respond to incidents, including after-hours coverage.
• Develop and run security awareness initiatives and phishing simulations.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, device security, and access controls.
• Identify AI security risks in generative AI systems and third-party providers.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to integrate security into development workflows.
