Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Surgical Robotics portfolio in the EMEA region. The role centers on supporting the Hugo robotic system and DS1 AI-powered surgical video analytics, liaising with health care professionals, SUS and FSEs to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

The position requires strong technical skills, robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, with opportunities for international collaboration and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years relevant experience, or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control within a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues; initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation/system entries are completed promptly.
• Focus on remote support with possible onsite training domestically and internationally.
