Workato is seeking a Senior Go Engineer to join the Genie team, developing core platform features including AI chatbot dispatching and managing synchronous/asynchronous AI execution. You will build gateways, logging infrastructure, and scale distributed systems with SRE support while collaborating with AI teams.

You will contribute across the full development lifecycle, write robust code, and evaluate new technologies to improve performance and reliability, helping enterprise-scale AI

Formación

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Strong experience with Go language at backend (4+ years).
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills.
• Good understanding of building blocks of large web apps: databases, load balancers, etc.
• Experience with building and scaling distributed, highly available systems.
• Experience in Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Basic Kubernetes concepts and configuration.

Responsabilidades

• Build high-performance gateways and routing components.
• Build server-side infrastructure for logging and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Infra and SRE for high availability and scalability.
• Work with AI team to design features for a new AI assistant.
• Contribute at all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system.
• Investigate alternatives and technologies for architectural review.
