Job summary

TFS HealthScience is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development for DIID (Dermatology, Immunology & Inflammatory Diseases). This remote role covers multiple European countries, driving strategy, client retention and BD team leadership across a diverse portfolio.

You will strategize opportunities, engage sponsors, and coordinate RFI/RFP responses while managing budgets and stakeholder relationships. The position requires extensive BD experience in CRO/clinical research, robust leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or highly relevant industry experience.
• Seven+ years in clinical research and/or sales.
• >5 years in sales with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and team leadership to influence multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, planning and multitasking abilities and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent knowledge of TFS / CRO business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Travel according to business needs within territory.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, coordinate and develop strategic sales plans within territory or accounts.
• Meet annual sales goals and objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and respond to RFIs/RFPs with internal team.
• Coordinate budget and contract negotiations post award.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and present sponsor info.
• Lead and mentor junior BD team members where appropriate.
• Record activities in Salesforce and provide required reports.
