Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in wind energy, based in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and support both commissioning and service activities to ensure reliable turbine operation across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyze data for faults and trends, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on wind energy or electromechanical systems experience in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English in speech and writing; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
