Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona. You will supervise offshore wind asset performance from a remote hub, coordinating with field teams and engineering experts to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will monitor turbines, analyze data, and lead troubleshooting across commissioning and service phases, with travel up to 20% and flexible on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them to troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
