Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to monitor turbine performance, troubleshoot remotely, and collaborate with site teams to ensure safe and efficient offshore wind operations.

You will analyze data, support commissioning and service activities, and contribute to continuous improvement while traveling up to 20% and relocating to Barcelona if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
