Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for remote operations of offshore wind assets from Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbines, analyze alarms, and support commissioning and service activities with remote diagnostics and field collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and applying them in troubleshooting.
• Hands-on wind turbine operation experience.
• Proficient in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and alarms; respond to abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends/public holidays.
