Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to oversee remote operations for offshore wind assets. The role focuses on safe, efficient performance, diagnostics, and cross-functional collaboration across commissioning and service phases from a remote operations center in Europe.

You will work with site teams and engineers to detect and resolve issues, analyse data, and drive improvements, with periodic travel and relocation to Barcelona as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support scenarios.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
