Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Risk & Compliance Specialist – Payment to own payment risk and compliance for a growing SaaS portfolio across Europe and beyond. You will design a risk framework, prevent fraud, manage disputes, and ensure card network and PSP compliance while partnering with legal, product, and data teams.

The role offers flexible remote options across Europe or a hybrid setup in Lausanne, with opportunities to build a risk function from the ground up in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in payment risk or related fields, with subscription SaaS, e-commerce, or fintech exposure.
• Experience in US market rules, chargeback management, and subscriptions.
• Hands-on dispute management involving PayPal risk processes.
• Knowledge of Visa/Mastercard monitoring programs and compliance.
• Ability to work with KPI dashboards and PSP reports.
• Strong ownership, autonomy, and ability to operate with limited processes.
• Rigorous documentation and change-management practices.
• Ability to prioritize pragmatically under deadlines with cost-conscious mindset.
• Experience building or monitoring AI agents is a plus.
• International exposure in LATAM or Asia is a plus.
• Fluent French and English proficiency; primary business language is French.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize anti-fraud tools and rules across PSPs; adapt controls by product, market, and customer segment.
• Manage chargeback prevention and alert processes; monitor deflection rates and handle country-specific thresholds.
• Ensure compliance with card network rules for retries, descriptors, and CIT/MIT transactions.
• Represent the business in risk reviews with payment providers; manage reserves and avoid account freezes.
• Define compliant European and US checkout standards with legal teams; monitor renewals and cancellations.
• Establish risk standards for new merchant accounts and markets; provide risk approval before launches.
• Maintain risk dashboards and alert-driven playbooks; analyze payment data and advocate improvements.
• Build and monitor AI agents to automate dispute monitoring and regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant payment experiences.
