Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Risk & Compliance Lead – Payments to design, implement, and enhance the company’s risk and compliance framework. You will report to the Head of Compliance and work with Product, Operations, Legal, Risk, Finance, Internal Audit, and Industry Affairs.

You will coordinate audits, regulatory assessments, and assurance reviews, while promoting a strong compliance culture across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of multi-jurisdictional compliance experience in financial services, payments or fintech.
• Practical knowledge of general compliance and non-financial risk management.
• Solid understanding of payment-regulation including SAC, PSD2/PSD3, outsourcing and data protection.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes and controls.
• Experience coordinating audits, regulatory reviews, remediation programmes or governance activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures and escalate issues.
• Design and execute second-line controls for AML/CTF, sanctions and financial-crime risks.
• Assess new products and initiatives for regulatory risk and define mitigating measures.
• Coordinate internal/external audits, regulatory assessments and assurance reviews.
• Prepare compliance reporting for senior management and board committees.
• Oversee governance of compliance operations including SAC, whistleblowing and data protection.
• Support governance of the Risk & Compliance Office through reporting and stakeholder management.
• Maintain and review policies and procedures to stay aligned with requirements.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness across the organisation.
• Act as focal point for Industry Affairs and coordinate regulatory developments.
• Represent or support Amadeus in industry associations and working groups.
