Job summary

NTT DATA in Spain is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1). The role involves operating regionally and delivering professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents, ensuring adherence to SLAs and documenting resolutions.

You'll use knowledge articles and service assurance tools, coordinate with vendors and colleagues, monitor service delivery against SLAs, and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computing or related field.
• Associate level networking certification (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance tools to diagnose problems, collect performance data and report findings.
• Identifies and resolves problems following approved procedures and performs maintenance tasks.
• Remotely investigates root causes and implements remedies and preventive measures.
• Logs incidents with required details and coordinates with clients, vendors and colleagues.
