Job summary

NTT DATA in Spain is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to deliver remote technical support, identify incidents and drive them to resolution while meeting SLA commitments. You will restore service by diagnosing problems and applying standard procedures.

You will use service assurance tools and collaborate with clients, vendors and internal teams to monitor performance, document actions and learn vendor technologies such as Cisco, Juniper and Aruba to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures that requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems, collects performance statistics and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
• Ensures usage of knowledge articles in incident diagnosis and resolution and assist with updating as required.
• Performs defined tasks to monitor service delivery against service level agreements and maintains records of relevant information.
