Job summary

NTT DATA in Spain is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to deliver remote technical support for clients. You will identify and resolve incidents, restore services, and ensure SLA adherence through proactive incident management and documented procedures.

The role requires basic networking knowledge (Cisco/Juniper/Aruba), remote support skills, and the ability to work across cultures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the support process and ensure requests for support follow procedures.
• Use service assurance software to diagnose problems and create performance reports.
• Identify and resolve problems following agreed procedures.
• Perform defined maintenance tasks.
• Maintain knowledge articles and update as required.
• Monitor service delivery against SLAs and keep records up to date.
• Analyze service records to identify actions to improve service levels.
• Prioritize and diagnose incidents per procedures.
• Investigate causes of incidents and seek resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved incidents and follow up until resolved.
