Job summary

NTT DATA in Spain is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support and resolve incidents, restoring services and meeting SLA targets.

You will use knowledge articles, logging, and coordination with clients and vendors, handling maintenance tasks, and documenting resolutions, while learning vendor technologies such as Cisco, Juniper and Aruba.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing.
• Associate level networking certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry level experience in Networking technologies and remote technical support.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and handles requests per procedures.
• Uses service assurance tools to diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents per procedures.
• Maintains configuration items (CIs) and protects assets from unauthorized change.
