Job summary

NTT DATA in Spain is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support and incident resolution. You will work across cultures, operate in regional environments, and ensure adherence to SLAs while maintaining accurate records and knowledge bases.

The role emphasizes diagnosing and resolving incidents, coordinating with vendors and clients, and applying best practices for proactive service management in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.
• Entry-level experience in Networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
• Entry-level experience providing remote support in Networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance tools to investigate, diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Performs defined maintenance tasks and monitors service delivery against SLAs.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolved.
