Job summary

WorkMotion, a remote-first company helping teams hire and manage talent internationally, is seeking an HR Operations Specialist. You’ll serve as the primary HR advisor for assigned countries (France primary) and collaborate with legal, payroll, and clients to ensure compliant, efficient employee lifecycle management.

You’ll navigate complex employment matters, drive process improvements, and deliver an exceptional client and employee experience across Europe.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR Operations or a similar client-facing HR role.
• Strong knowledge of France employment law and HR practices.
• Ability to balance customer needs, compliance and business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR advisor for assigned countries (primarily France).
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
• Deliver high-quality employee and client experiences by resolving HR queries and supporting events.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements across multiple entities.
• Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, Finance, Product and external partners to deliver HR services.
• Support reporting, audits, HR administration, and strategic projects.
