Job summary

Wabtec seeks a Sales & Business Development Manager to drive international revenue for Power Industry products from the Basque region. You will build and execute account plans for major OEMs, lead the full sales cycle, and translate customer needs into technical solutions.

The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, plus a track record in technical sales within industrial sectors. Occasional travel to key sites and a fluent English background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of technical sales experience and business development, preferably in industrial/manufacturing.
• Experience selling into key accounts is a significant plus.
• Ability to travel up to 30-40% as required.
• Strong technical knowledge of relays, RTUs, sensors and their applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth internationally for Power Industry products through regional strategies.
• Develop and execute account plans for main OEMs in energy sector; cultivate relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Lead full sales process from lead generation to contract closure, including technical presentations and negotiations.
• Achieve sales targets by expanding product lines within accounts and identifying new opportunities.
• Maintain deep product knowledge to translate customer requirements into solutions.
• Provide accurate forecasts, analyze performance data, and track KPIs for strategic decisions.
• Find business partners to expand the portfolio with complementary products.
