GeneMind Biosciences is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage on-site and remote service delivery for high-precision sequencing instruments. You will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot hardware, and provide technical training to distributor teams and customers.

The role emphasizes strong customer focus, rigorous documentation, and collaboration with sales, R&D, and applications teams to ensure instrument uptime and optimal performance across global operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on hardware maintenance in medical devices or life science equipment.
• Proficiency in instrument assembly/disassembly, circuit troubleshooting, and calibration.
• Excellent verbal communication and clear technical documentation skills.
• Fluent or strong spoken English; ability to collaborate with global teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare installation materials, documentation, and packaging for instrument setup and commissioning.
• Coordinate supplies and checklists for product demonstrations and ensure flawless demos.
• Provide on-site and remote hardware troubleshooting and maintenance for customers.
• Design and deliver technical trainings for distributor engineers and customer staff.
• Perform routine on-site inspections and proactively identify potential issues to maintain performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports per policy and quality standards.
• Collaborate with sales, application, and R&D teams to relay customer feedback and improve reliability.
