GeneMind is seeking a Field Service Engineer to own end-to-end service for our high-precision sequencing instruments, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair. This hands-on role requires field execution and strong problem-solving to keep instruments running for labs worldwide.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will train distributor staff, prepare service documentation, and collaborate with sales, R&D to improve reliability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor, or related technical disciplines.
• 3+ years of hands-on hardware maintenance in medical devices or life science equipment.
• Proficiency in assembly, disassembly, circuit troubleshooting, calibration, and hardware fault resolution.
• Excellent verbal communication with the ability to draft clear project documents and reports.
• Strong learning agility to rapidly master complex genomic sequencing instruments.
• Good oral English; fluent English preferred for global collaboration.
• Willing and able to travel frequently domestically and internationally.
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to quality service.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare comprehensive materials, documentation, and packaging for instrument installation, on-site commissioning, and post-sale maintenance.
• Evaluate required supplies and checklists for product demonstrations and coordinate preparation efforts for flawless demos.
• Deliver responsive hardware technical support and maintenance services, conducting on-site and remote troubleshooting.
• Design and deliver structured technical training for distributor Field Service Engineers and customer staff.
• Perform routine on-site inspections to assess instrument status and proactively identify issues.
• Maintain detailed service records, project documents, and technical reports per policy and quality standards.
• Collaborate with sales, application, and R&D to share feedback and improve product reliability and customer experience.
