Job summary

Mode Mobile is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team responsible for the VPN product post-acquisition and to serve as a technical leader for future products. The role blends engineering leadership, product ownership, and acquisition integration as you move from hands-on delivery to people management.

You will guide onboarding, establish a transition plan, and build a repeatable playbook while collaborating with product, security, and corporate development teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering with people management in agile environments.
• Experience leading or contributing to technical acquisitions and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance in product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of acquired VPN products from due diligence through transition.
• Define a repeatable acquisition playbook and transition plan.
• Build and grow a high-performing engineering team with delivery discipline.
