Job summary
Progress Partners is seeking an Engineering Delivery Manager to strengthen delivery predictability, quality, and visibility across external engineering teams. This is a strategic, company-wide delivery role focused on improving planning, risk management, and cross-team coordination.
You'll partner with external vendors, product managers, QA, and platform engineering to drive measurable improvements while maintaining asynchronous, remote-friendly collaboration across time zones.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in software delivery or related leadership roles.
- Experience managing delivery across multiple external teams.
- Strong knowledge of agile delivery, estimation, release planning, QA workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create visibility into external teams' work and ownership.
- Tie delivery plans to business priorities and track progress.
- Identify early risks, bottlenecks, and root causes in delivery.
- Ensure plans are realistic and quality gates are applied.
- Work with QA and engineering leads to improve quality metrics.
- Build vendor scorecards and escalation paths.
- Communicate status and business impact to stakeholders.
