Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Chief Technology Officer / VP of Technology based in Spain to lead the global technology strategy across internal systems and client-facing platforms. This executive role requires hands-on leadership, cross-border team management, and a focus on AI, automation, and scalable infrastructure.

You will drive enterprise IT, vendor negotiations, and strategic technology cost management while partnering with business units to accelerate growth across Europe and North America.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading technology strategy in a mid-sized org with internal systems and client-facing digital products.
• Deep experience with the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on operational leadership, not just governance.
• Strong commercial acumen in vendor negotiations, licensing optimization, and multi-country budgets.
• Adaptability and cross-cultural communication to lead distributed teams across time zones.
• Pragmatic, business-first mindset in lean, fast-moving environments.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Fabric, Power BI) and energy sector exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise IT and operations across multiple countries, incl. security and access management.
• Oversee Dynamics 365 CRM, Finance & Operations, and data workflows.
• Define product roadmaps for client-facing platforms across two regions.
• Drive AI and automation to scale operations with lean headcount growth.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing negotiations, and outsourced services.
• Mentor a distributed tech team across time zones.
