Lever, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer/ Architect ( .NET ) in Spain to spearhead software architecture for an enterprise IoT asset tracking platform. You will balance hands-on coding with team leadership, shaping concurrent distributed systems using C# and .NET, and mentoring a global engineering team.

Responsibilities include designing core platform features, driving TDD/CI‑CD practices, and championing AI integrations. The role offers 100% remote flexibility and high impact across industries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and scaling production systems.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
• Expert-level mastery in C#, .NET (Framework & Core), MS SQL Server, SQL, ASP.NET Web API, and modern frontend frameworks like React.
• Deep experience architecting concurrent, fault-tolerant distributed systems with OO principles and design patterns.
• Strong commitment to software quality with a TDD mindset and robust CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Responsabilités

• Design, architect, and write production code for core platform features, defining system boundaries and data models.
• Lead a distributed agile team, run sprints, unblock developers, set goals, and mentor through code reviews and pair programming.
• Drive engineering excellence across the lifecycle with TDD, CI/CD, observability, and security-by-design standards.
• Champion AI integration by embedding AI coding assistants into workflows and driving AI adoption across teams.
• Resolve performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges to support high-scale deployments.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and leadership to refine roadmaps and recruit top engineering talent.
