Job summary

HOYA Surgical Optics is seeking a Regional Training Manager to own product and selling-skills training across EMEA and LATAM. You will support Sales Reps, Regional Sales Managers, in-country CAS, distributor partners and surgical teams—from onboarding to advanced workshops in the OR.

Responsibilities include designing trainers, delivering launches, coaching in-country teams, building competency programs, and serving as the technical product expert for AT-IOLs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in sales or sales training within ophthalmology.
• Proven delivery of training and in-field coaching.
• Solid understanding of ophthalmic procedures and AT-IOLs.

Responsibilities

• Design and certify in-country trainers and onboarding training.
• Deliver launches, campaigns and refresher training for sales teams and distributors.
• Coach CAS and Sales Managers through field visits and OR observations.
• Build competency-based programs with assessments.
• Act as technical product expert for AT-IOLs and ophthalmic procedures.
• Represent HOYA at global/regional congresses and partnerships.
