Exoscale, a leading cloud service provider in Europe, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in a role focused on designing, developing and maintaining the visibility platform. You will work with a distributed team across Europe and participate in ensuring high availability and reliability of the Exoscale platform.

The role requires strong knowledge of Prometheus, Mimir and VictoriaMetrics vmagent, Linux, Kubernetes and Go, with database technologies like MariaDB, Kafka, Cassandra, FoundationDB

Formación

• Proficient with Mimir/Prometheus and VictoriaMetrics vmagent or equivalents.
• Experienced with Linux systems administration.
• Proficient in Kubernetes and application deployment.
• Proficient in Go and distributed systems concepts.
• Knowledgeable in MariaDB, Kafka, Cassandra, FoundationDB or ClickHouse.
• Strong automation and configuration management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, optimize and evolve our visibility stack, including VictoriaMetrics vmagent, Mimir.
• Designing a scalable platform.
• Take part in automation and orchestration efforts to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Improve processes to ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability of our infrastructure.
• Join the on-call rotation after completing a training period.
• Help also in maintaining our databases platforms ( MariaDB, Cassandra, FoundationDB, ClickHouse).
