Job summary

Ethos seeks experienced directors of privacy and compliance to help train our language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This fully remote, flexible role requires 5+ years in data privacy or regulatory compliance with DPIA ownership and GDPR/CCPA gap assessments. Compensation is $90/hour, with 5-20 hours per week and ASAP start.

Work from anywhere, shaping privacy controls in AI-generated outputs and governance across processing activities for a leading AI lab.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data privacy or regulatory compliance with ownership of DPIAs, records of processing activities, and GDPR/CCPA gap assessments.
• Experience drafting privacy notices and vendor data-processing agreements.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail in documents, spreadsheets, and slides.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core privacy workflows.
• Ensure regulatory alignment for DPIAs, records of processing activities, GDPR/CCPA gap assessments, privacy notices, and DPAs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high-quality output and governance.
