Job summary

Ethos is seeking a seasoned Data Protection Officer to support training an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will own privacy artifacts and refine outputs across DPIAs, RoPA, and data protection gap assessments, while ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.

The role offers fully remote work, flexible 5–20 hours per week, and compensation at $90/hour. Start date ASAP, with a strong emphasis on precise drafting and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data privacy or regulatory compliance with direct ownership of DPIAs, RoPA, and GDPR/CCPA gap assessments
• Experience drafting privacy notices and DPAs that withstand regulator and customer scrutiny
• Expert document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core privacy workflows.
• Draft privacy notices and vendor data-processing agreements compliant with regulators and customers.
• Lead and refine DPIAs, RoPA, and breach notification protocols for AI training and data handling tasks.
