Elastic seeks a Product Manager for Observability to drive the Elastic Agent framework, Fleet Server, and telemetry collectors. You will shape the roadmap, track KPIs, and coordinate remote deployments across distributed environments.

You will collaborate with engineering, UX, and marketing to deliver seamless management experiences, with a strong emphasis on OpenTelemetry and cloud-native release strategies. This role requires deep observability expertise and distributed teamwork.

Formación

• At least five years in a Product Management role with a focus on enterprise infrastructure observability or telemetry collection.
• Strong familiarity with collectors, log shippers, and agent ecosystems like OpenTelemetry Collector, Elastic Agent, Filebeat/Beats, and Logstash.
• Proven ability to define requirements for remote agent management and fleet control planes.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes operators and Helm Charts, and cloud-native release management.
• Experience in IT Ops/DevOps/SRE or customer-facing solution architect roles is a plus.
• Expertise in OpenTelemetry standards, receivers/exporters, and ECS architectures.
• Experience with open-source communities and balancing upstream contributions with enterprise needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to translate complex architectures into business goals.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools and emerging telemetry stacks.

Responsabilidades

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define vision and execution roadmap for Elastic Agent framework, Fleet Server/Service, and telemetry collectors.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Define KPIs for agent deployment success, pipeline efficiency, and OTel distributions adoption.
• Agent Architecture & Distribution: Oversee packaging, testing, and distribution of Elastic Agent and EDOT distributions.
• Remote Management & Control: Drive remote management for Elastic Agent, Fleet Server, and collector infrastructure at scale.
• Kubernetes Management & Releases: Shape release strategy for cloud-native deployments with Kubernetes operators and Helm Charts.
• OpenTelemetry: Lead OTEL integration across Elastic Agent and upstream projects to meet enterprise needs.
• Log Shipping Infrastructure: Manage Filebeat receivers and Beats repository maintenance.
• Logstash Enhancement: Lead Logstash initiatives for better support, performance, and customer-requested enhancements.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, UX, and product marketing for central management experiences.
• Public Advocacy: Represent Elastic’s agent framework and collection capabilities at events.
