Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Telemetry collection within the Observability team. You will own the vision for Fleet Server, Elastic Agent, and EDOT, guiding edge telemetry collectors and remote management at scale across Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments.

You will collaborate with engineering, UX, and product marketing to deliver central management experiences and champion Elastic’s collector ecosystem in global settings.

Formación

• Minimum five years in a Product Management role focused on enterprise infrastructure observability or telemetry collection.
• Strong technical familiarity with collectors, log shippers, and agent ecosystems such as OpenTelemetry and Elastic Agent.
• Proven track record defining requirements for remote agent management and distributed edge collection systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes operators and Helm, and cloud-native release management.
• Background in IT Ops/DevOps or solution architecture for enterprise customers.
• Expertise in OpenTelemetry standards, receivers/exporters, and collector architectures.
• Experience with open-source communities and balancing upstream work with enterprise needs.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex tech to business goals.
• Awareness of AI productivity tools and telemetry in modern stacks.

Responsabilidades

• Define product vision and roadmap for Elastic Agent, Fleet Server, and telemetry collectors.
• Track KPIs on agent deployment success, pipeline efficiency, and OTel distribution adoption.
• Oversee packaging, testing, and distribution of Elastic Agent and EDOT variants.
• Lead remote management capabilities for agent infrastructure at scale.
• Drive Kubernetes-focused release strategy and Helm-based provisioning.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and product marketing for unified experiences.
• Represent Elastic in public events as a spokesperson for the agent framework.
• Ensure interoperability with Filebeat/Beats and Logstash enhancements.
