Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager, Pricing & Revenue in Spain. You will steer core systems powering hotel distribution, pricing, and revenue optimization for a global travel tech platform.

The role blends hands-on engineering with architecture leadership, guiding a small team to build scalable, reliable solutions with measurable business impact. You will own design of pricing engines, hotel search capabilities across ~200 suppliers, and automated rebooking workflows, while

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams while contributing to architecture and production systems.
• Strong backend expertise with Go.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, high-volume APIs, latency optimization, and reliability engineering.
• Experience designing or improving marketplace, trading, pricing, or optimization systems with supply and demand.
• Ability to translate commercial objectives into robust technical architectures delivering measurable results.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical direction, architecture, reliability, and delivery of the Pricing & Revenue engineering domain.
• Design and develop a sophisticated pricing engine balancing supplier availability, demand, competitiveness, distribution, and profit margins.
• Build and improve high-performance hotel search systems capable of handling synchronous queries across ~200 suppliers with low latency.
• Develop new trading capabilities, including automated rebooking workflows, initially supporting internal operations and potentially evolving into customer-facing products.
• Improve hotel search availability and booking fulfilment, ensuring customers can successfully complete reservations.
• Remain hands‑on with architecture, code, system design, and production troubleshooting while guiding the team's technical execution.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a small engineering team, supporting recruitment, technical development, and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Trading to translate complex commercial challenges into technical solutions with measurable business outcomes.
• Take ownership of engineering decisions and production systems, continuously improving scalability, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, move quickly, and deliver improvements with minimal organizational overhead.
