Cainiao Group in Spain (Galicia) seeks a payroll specialist to manage monthly payroll for Spanish employees, ensuring compliance with local law and social security.

You will be the main contact for local payroll vendors, manage data submissions, validate calculations, and support Europe-wide payroll projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years payroll experience, fluent Spanish, basic English, and strong Excel skills, with attention to detail and teamwork.

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; 1–3 years payroll experience in Spain preferred.
• Native or fluent Spanish; able to manage nóminas, Sistema RED filings, and tax correspondence in Spanish; basic English required.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical sensitivity; comfortable with payroll calculations and deadlines.
• Strong communication and vendor-management skills; able to hold vendors accountable across functions.
• Proficient in Excel and standard office tools; familiar with SOPs and payroll documentation.
• Adaptable and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end monthly payroll processing for Spanish employees: salary calculation, social security, tax withholdings, and reporting.
• Primary contact for external payroll vendors in Spain; data submissions, draft reviews, validation, invoicing, and cost allocation.
• Manage payroll input data: attendance, leave tracking, and all variables feeding payroll.
• Support other European payroll operations as capacity allows; liaise with local vendors and ensure data consistency.
• Participate in regional payroll projects with C&B COE, Finance, and other teams; drive SOP development and reporting rollout for Spain and Europe.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end monthly payroll processing for Spanish employees: salary calculation (nómina), social security (Seguridad Social), tax withholdings (IRPF), and reporting. Ensure compliance with Spanish labor law (Estatuto de los Trabajadores) and collective agreements (Convenio Colectivo).
• Primary contact for external payroll vendors in Spain. Manage data submission, payroll draft review, calculation validation, final run approval, invoice tracking, payment follow-up, and internal cost allocation across entities. Handle employee payroll inquiries and escalated vendor issues as needed.
• Manage payroll input data: attendance, leave tracking (vacaciones, permisos retribuidos, IT, nacimiento y cuidado de menor), and all variables feeding into payroll calculations.
• Support other European countries' payroll operations as capacity allows — liaise with local vendors, review outputs, validate compliance, and ensure data consistency.
• 5.Participate in regional payroll projects with C&B COE, Finance, and other teams. Drive payroll SOP development, process standardization, and online reporting system rollout for Spain and Europe.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above, 1–3 years of payroll experience. Spanish payroll processing and vendor management experience strongly preferred.
• Native or fluent Spanish. Able to handle nóminas, Sistema RED filings, and tax correspondence in Spanish. Basic English required.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical sensitivity. Comfortable with payroll calculations, statutory deadlines, and multi-party coordination.
• Strong communication and vendor management skills. Able to hold vendors accountable and collaborate across functions.
• Proficient in Excel and standard office tools. Familiar with SOPs and payroll documentation.
• Adaptable, positive attitude, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
