Job summary

Fayara is hiring a Payments Onboarding Specialist in Madrid to manage merchant onboarding with acquirers, banks, gateways and alternative providers from prep to go-live, coordinating applications and documenting requirements in a fast-growing, high-impact environment. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in payments, is fluent in English, skilled with Excel, and can juggle multiple onboarding projects with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Madrid.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in payments, onboarding, or KYC.
• Familiarity with acquirers, banks, gateways and PSPs.
• Ability to prepare, review, and track complete application packages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate merchant onboarding from prep to go-live.
• Maintain communications with payment providers and track status.
• Keep KYC and corporate documentation up to date.
• Track applications, statuses, and required documents.
• Assist with ad hoc payments projects and new method setups.
• Ensure timely reporting to management.
