We are looking for an HR Professional located in Málaga, Spain to join our Global Talent Team

Purpose of the Role :

As a People Business Partner (PBP), you will play a pivotal role in aligning the people strategy with the business objectives of our teams, including internal employees, contractors, freelancers, and external collaborators. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will drive initiatives that foster engagement, support career development, and ensure that our people practices reflect the company’s commitment to innovation, inclusion, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with department leaders to understand business goals and provide HR guidance and solutions that drive team and organizational success.
  • Analyze workforce trends and metrics to identify challenges and recommend strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a champion for the company’s values, embedding them into all people strategies and initiatives.

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, ensuring the attraction and hiring of top talent for both internal teams and external collaborators.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to integrate new hires effectively and set them up for success.
  • Develop and implement career path frameworks that promote growth and retention
  • Employee Engagement & Development

  • Partner with managers to create development plans for team members that leverage individual strengths and address skill gaps.
  • Conduct regular engagement surveys, analyze results, and drive initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and alignment.
  • Support and coach managers on team dynamics, feedback delivery, and leadership best practices.
  • Performance Management & Organizational Design

  • Lead performance review processes, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leaders to design and implement team structures that support agility and scalability.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues
  • Culture & Innovation

  • Drive programs and initiatives that promote a purpose-driven and inclusive company culture.
  • Lead or support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts
  • Partner with leadership to create innovative approaches for leveraging individual strengths across the company, enhancing engagement and fulfillment.
  • Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards, especially those relevant to the life sciences sector.
  • Collaborate with the People team to manage workforce planning, compensation, and benefits programs effectively.
  • Provide HR support and guidance for remote, hybrid, and global teams, ensuring seamless operations and connectivity.
  • Background :

    Professional Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a people business partner or similar capacity.
  • Proven experience supporting teams in a service-oriented or project-based industry. Experience in life sciences or translation is a plus.
  • Experience implementing employee engagement or culture-building initiatives in remote-first or hybrid environments. (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with the unique challenges of managing freelancers, contractors, and external vendors. (Preferred)
  • Technical Knowledge :

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of workforce trends in the life sciences or translation industry. (Preferred)
  • Formal / Academic Background :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
