Job summary

Amazon Madrid is seeking an IT Support Engineer to keep our IT infrastructure running across operational sites. You will support end-user equipment and building IT, and may travel to other sites as needed.

You will troubleshoot incidents, implement improvements, and mentor IT technicians while collaborating with on-site and remote teams to ensure systems run at peak performance. Resistance to downtime is key; you’ll diagnose root causes, participate in network projects, and help design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis
• Experience working in complex IT environments or equivalent
• Experience working in data centers or critical infrastructure
• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols
• Experience in software development and delivery
• Experience in network and operating system support
• Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish and English at C1 level or above
• Valid EU driver's license

Responsibilities

• Support end-user equipment and your building's IT infrastructure
• Help with key network projects, like the IT setup of new Amazon buildings
• Suggest new processes that improve the way Amazon uses IT in its operational sites
• Train and mentor IT technicians
