Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You will work across commissioning and service phases, guiding troubleshooting and continuous improvement to ensure reliable lifecycle performance.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineers, interpreting data, leading remote diagnostics, and supporting grid-outage readiness with safety and compliance at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine/EM systems experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot field issues.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift with on-call weekend/public-holiday rotations.
