Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee the safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. The role covers both commissioning and service phases, ensuring turbines perform reliably across their lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineers to detect, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, analyze data, and drive continuous improvements in operations and performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
