Morningstar in Madrid, Spain is seeking a Data Research Analyst to join a globally coordinated data team. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data across markets, collaborating with internal partners to acquire and manage data and support investment data points and fund structures.

The role requires multilingual communication (English plus Thai, Japanese or Korean), strong data quality skills, and proficiency in Excel with project management experience.

Formación

• Fluent in English and at least two additional languages including Thai, Japanese or Korean.
• Strong client-focused team player with empathy and attention to client needs.
• Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of data quality, methodologies and processes.
• Proficient in Excel and experienced in project management and cross-functional data work.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate closely with the global data teams.
• Be the data expert on investment data points, processes and fund structures.
• Manage relationships with fund companies and set up acquisition channels.
• Meet production deadlines for internal and external clients.
• Continuously evaluate procedures and implement process improvements.
• Utilize LEAN Six Sigma to track and resolve complex data issues.
• Collect and maintain Morningstar data with high accuracy and coverage.
• Own issues in the data ticket queue and provide timely updates and resolutions.
• Translate internal requests into detailed specifications and user stories.
• Document client use cases to ensure functionality meets client expectations.
