Morningstar in Madrid is seeking an Associate Data Research Analyst fluent in English and multiple languages to support global financial data accuracy across markets. You will work with the Global Data Team and Local Business Representatives to acquire and manage data, meeting deadlines and delivering high‑quality content for Empower Investors.

You will develop analytics tools, use Lean Six Sigma approaches, and translate client requests into clear specifications.

Formación

• Fluent in English and at least two other languages.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑border teams and client focus.
• Passion for data quality, investment data processes and methodologies.
• Experience with project management approaches, Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate closely with global data teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Act as data expert on investment data points, processes and fund structures.
• Maintain relationships with fund providers and manage data acquisition channels.
• Meet production deadlines for internal and external clients.
• Evaluate procedures, build analytical tools and drive process improvements.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to track and resolve complex data issues.
• Collect and maintain Morningstar data with high accuracy and coverage.
• Own data ticket queue responsibilities and provide timely updates and resolutions.
• Translate internal client requests into clear specifications and user stories.
• Document client use cases to ensure new functionality meets expectations.
