Job summary

BD is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer to join its global Operational Excellence community at ESP Huesca - Fraga. You will drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery and cost, under the Plant OPEX Manager, applying BD Excellence methodologies.

You will develop problem-solving capabilities, coordinate focused improvement projects, and coach teams in Kaizen events to sustain a multi-year CTW portfolio while improving OEE and waste metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience in a plant.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma systems; green/black belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Active member of Focused Improvement team.
• Develop problem solving capability at all levels.
• Support CI projects across SQDC (Safety Quality Delivery Cost).
• Coordinate component teams to eliminate loss per strategic goals.
• Grow a multi-year CTW portfolio and optimize loss landscape.
• Teach BD Excellence concepts and lead Kaizen events.
